To play a solo version of Heart and Soul on the piano, start by placing your left pinky finger on the F key, ring finger on the G key, middle finger on the A key, and thumb on the C key. . Then play the keys C, A, F, and G, in that order, with a short pause between each note. Work the left hand until it is smooth. To add the right hand, press middle C three times. Wait a second, then press C again, followed by B and A. Now go back up the scale playing B, C, D, and press E three times. Press E again, then play D and C. Continue down the scale, playing D, E, F, and G, pause, and play the C you started on again. To learn how to play Heart and Soul as a duet, read on!
