I’ve been putting this off for months (actually, I think a few years) so I finally got around to digging out the letters from the kitchen, cleaning up the backs and applying some double sided tape. (which was why I put it off for so long in the first place).

So after an hour or so they were ready to match. Remove the drive with a heat gun, masking tape and a screwdriver while it’s still light.

Since there was no template, I masked off the borders with tape to give a rough outline as a basis for replacing the letters.

Once the remaining double sided tape is lightly rubbed with your thumb and cleaned with degreaser, the letters are ready to match.

It definitely made the front end a little happier and only took about 15 – 20 minutes to adjust. If only the double sided tape didn’t take so long to install lol.

I’m not too sure how long they will last, although the quality of the double-sided tape didn’t inspire much confidence, but we’ll see.

I came close to lining up the letters to read “RAGE ROVER” or “ANGER OVER” to see if Mrs. Stiff noticed, but then thought better of it. I prefer my testicles to be about the same place.

It won’t matter anyway because I’ve got it all back again. I went outside to see how well they were sticking and felt some movement. (This was an old tape I had in the garage for years and it was a bit too wide and thick)

I hope someone has specific details on the emblems for the front and rear emblems: “Range Rover” for the Evoque.

Long story short: I recently wrapped a 2016 Evoque in matte black. The OEM emblems were removed, when put back on, they just didn’t look right. The guy who wrapped my car did a great job with the wrap, but I guess: He bought emblems for the larger Range Rover, as you know: the emblems for the “Range Rover” evoque are different, as is the hood. is different.

The dealer wants to charge me 934.00 for labor, installation and emblems… This is outrageous. If any of you have any information that could help someone install it for me, I would greatly appreciate any helpful information. I did quite a bit of research online and couldn’t find anything. You are my last hope. Thanks again!
