Arts And Letters Depaul – Ok, so while not exactly a secret, I did get a glimpse of the new Arts and Letters Building at the corner of Kenmore and Belden (2315 N. Kenmore Ave, to be exact), across from the Student Center.

It’s been a little over a week since the official move-in date, November 28, and the maze of boxes, ribbons of tape surrounding the corridors of McGaw, and the countdown sign on the bulletin board in the department can no longer be ignored. Faculty members met on a rainy Monday morning for a tour of the 119,000-square-foot space. I have to say, it looks amazing–33 million dollars, 47 classrooms, wi-fi from basement to roof, and amazing couches just begging for a pre/post-class nap. I also got a chance to peek into the student halls (so cool–you want to start an organization dedicated to their worship), spacious faculty offices and views worthy of the word “vista” from the great windows in some of the classrooms.
