Unknowns are scattered throughout the Hisui region in various locations. They usually stick to rocks and walls, although some may hang from trees and the like. As soon as you find an unknown, throw a Poké Ball at him to guarantee to catch him.
Some Unowns are in hard to reach places so you may need to use Feather Balls or other easy balls to get to them.

Hints on where each Unown is hiding can be found in the Unown Research Notes section of your Pokédex.
A completed and perfect Pokédex entry for Unown and the satisfaction of knowing you now have all the Mystery Alphabetical Pokémon.
Once you have found all the Unknowns, you will also be able to freely fish them in the Ruins of Solaceon. While static hidden Unknowns cannot be Brilliant, those in ruins can be Brilliant.
Below we list all the locations of each Unown. Some may require a special Pokémon mount, such as Sneezler. We recommend waiting until you get your Braviary to go hunting, as it’s a lot easier to fly around the map quickly.

Of course, finding all the different Unknowns becomes exponentially more difficult, because the forms of Unknowns you’ve already caught appear more often than you’d like as you get closer to catching them all. I didn’t mind because – and I know this is a pretty unpopular opinion – I really love Unown for what it is. Of course, I’d be out of my mind if I actually used it, whether in a normal playthrough or in a competitive scene, because it’s undeniably a terrible Pokémon to fight, but there are so many mysteries surrounding Unown that I can’t help but I can’t love this thing. Or these things, whatever. If it wasn’t already obvious, Unowns are shaped like the Latin alphabet and were introduced in Pokémon Gold and Silver, where they were only found in Alpha Ruins. It is no coincidence that they can be found in such an ancient place, because their shapes resemble hieroglyphs on ancient tablets. It is a mystery whether the preceding or succeeding script was unknown, and therefore it is not known which one is based on which.
As the main games of the series have evolved, Unown has been found in various ancient locations: Tanobi’s cells on the Seven Islands (Sevia Islands) in FireRed and LeafGreen, the Solaceon Ruins in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, and one of the many Mirage Islands in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. However, players never considered them very important, even when Game Freak introduced ! (exclamation mark) and ? (question mark) Unown in FireRed and LeafGreen. Diamond and Pearl allowed the player to capture all 26 unknowns so that the ruin maniac could dig a tunnel to a separate room in the Solaseon ruins that contained ! as well as ? Unown and a couple of items. Capturing all the Unowns also allowed the player to receive letter seals for their Ball Capsules, showing every boy in Solaceon Town each individual Unown. And no one was going to do this, right? In addition, the only move it can learn is Hidden Power, a move that almost every Pokémon can learn with a few exceptions. All this has made Unown a very often hated Pokémon. Of course, everyone is free to hate a certain Pokémon (for example, I think I made it clear that I hate the very existence of Likiliki), but I don’t think the hatred of Unown is entirely justified: I look beyond its terrible statistics and find a lot of secrets and lore. Also, I think Unown is a fun Pokemon, which is definitely related to my love for it.
While everyone fell in love with Entei in the third Pokémon 3: The Movie movie – Spell of the Unown: Entei, I was more intrigued by the Unknown. Don’t get me wrong: I liked the movie as a whole, and I really like Entei, but it was just adorable to see how these little letter-shaped creatures that we’re familiar with can be so powerful. Of course, it was the Unown team, but
