Morning peeps, I’m looking for help finding this. One has a front grill with the letters RAM lit up with reflective LED strips. I saw it last week here or on the Facebook group page and even searched the web, can’t find it anywhere now.

Crazy prices for that. I will have to look into using standard ws2812b LEDs (weatherproof strip) in a custom box. Should not be more than $25 to build. Hell, w/ a little $10 arduino I can sequence the lights to show a pattern that changes color.

It’s not my personal thing, but I can say that they build high quality. I’ve seen their stuff up close, and it’s built for a long time against the ones that will be coming out of Asia in pennies soon. The custom graphics and LED options are a nice touch, and it’s built one at a time by a family-owned, vet-owned business.

I was just quoted $350 with shipping and about 6 weeks for what I wanted. The money part doesn’t bother me, I just don’t have enough patience to wait painfully long.

The op did it himself by adding plexiglass behind each letter and lighting everything with LEDs. It looked cool

Thank you very much guys. I would really like to do or find something. Think it will go well with my front end and the bar lights that lead to the headlights. I’ve seen MBs and they (factory tho) make it visible to me. The letters are CAD designed based on stock letter sizes  They are 3d printed using ABS plastic which is the same material that Dodge and other major car manufacturers use because it is extremely durable and weather resistant. They are then sandblasted, primed, wet sanded, painted, and clear coated using a quality automotive paint. Then the LEDs are installed and supported with polycarbonate (PC plexiglass). We use PC because of its high resistance to UV rays and heat resistance. The letters plug into the custom wiring harness that runs behind the grill and taps into the power parking lights. However you can plug in any 12v power source you choose and you can add a switch if you like.
