The 63rd Annual Region 2B Bowling Tournament will be held at Jug’s Bowling Center, 5111 Jackman Road, Toledo, OH 43613.

The UAW Education Department will hold its annual Young Workers Institute October 2-7, 2022. The institute will be held at the Walter and May Reuther UAW Family Education Center in Onaway, Michigan. Please see the official hotline for more information: Young Workers Hotline

The Region 2B Effective Teacher Training will be held on Tuesday, November 15th at 8am at 1691 Woodlands Drive, Maumee, OH 43537. Registration is open until October 21st, 2022. Please see the official call letter for more information: Effective Educator Training 2 Call Letter

We are pleased to announce that the UAW Region 2B Women’s Conference has been scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2, 2022. The conference is hosted by UAW Local 211, located at 2120 Baltimore St., Defiance, OH 43512. The theme of the conference is “Women on the Rise, Breaking Everyone catches it.” Locals are asked to donate a gift basket for the Women’s Conference. These baskets will be raffled off at the conference and the proceeds will be donated to various charities. Any locals interested in a gift basket should bring them to the conference.

Region 2B, UAW Leadership and Advisory Board Meeting (Chaplaincy, Civil & Human Rights, Community Services, Education, IPS/Competitive Shops, Skilled Trades, Technical Office & Professional (TOP), Union Label, Veterans and Women) will be held Tuesday, October 11 through Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Sawmill Creek Resort, 400 Sawmill Creek Drive, Huron, OH 44839.

We are pleased to announce the Fall 2022 session of the UAW Region 2B Online Academy. This training is web-based and members can participate at their own time and at their own pace within a 20-day window. Three seminar series are available for the Fall 2022 session, each containing multiple courses. Registration is open until Friday, September 23, 2022.
