Sacred Heart University has continuous admissions, but also offers an “early decision” option for freshmen, which is December 1st. Despite Petillo’s warning of a possible campus closure, Sacred Heart announced Tuesday that it will lift Merton Hall dorm quarantine for students who test negative for COVID-19. The dormitory had been in quarantine since the weekend.

So far, no colleges or universities in Connecticut have been forced to close for the semester due to COVID-19.
