Nigel was the founder of Weidenfeld & Nicholson and published the controversial ‘Lolita’. Booklet to the frontispiece of Volume I. Previous owner’s ink inscription on recto to front page of Volume III. Condition Report: In original publisher’s cloth bindings, Volumes I and II in original uncut dustwrapper, Volume III in original discounted dustwrapper. Volume I is slightly faded to the extremities. A few small marks to boards. Slight tingling in head and tail and extremities. Some stains to front edges. Front hinges of volumes II and III are starting but firm. Booklet to the front of Volume I.
