Installation is easy: just clean the surface you want to apply the decal to. Apply the decal with a credit card or squeegee to wipe it on the surface and try to push out the air bubbles. Remove the transfer tape after application.

Optional: For a less aggressive initial tack, but longer drying time, you can spray the tacky surface of your decal and the surface of your vehicle to allow flexibility in positioning. Allow at least 10 minutes of drying time. Be sure to check the adhesive strength before removing the transfer tape.

All surfaces should be considered dirty and should be cleaned before applying the vinyl decal. Painted metals should be cleaned with an automotive cleaner. Wipe the surface dry with a clean, dry, lint-free cloth.

Align the decal, making sure to align the vinyl with a horizontal line next to it. Use a level to be absolutely sure it’s straight and even. Stick masking tape on the corners to hold it in place. Add a line of masking tape along the top of the decal when you are happy with the position – this is to prepare you for hinges.

Hinge the decal up toward the tape and slowly pull the backing out of the corner. Carefully peel from side to side and pull down until the backing paper is removed. Hold the center of the sticker and make sure that the sticker does not touch the surface.

With a squeegee, starting at the center of the decal and working outwards, swipe down and out firmly, pushing the vinyl onto the vehicle. Use smooth movements from the center out to push out air bubbles. Make sure to press down on each part of the decal. Run your squeegee over the decal one more time and make sure it’s applied.

Remove the application tape and hold it flat with the surface. Do this process slowly and see if the decal is correctly applied to the surface. Use a retractable razor blade along doorways and fold in excess vinyl. Make sure the vinyl graphic is completely and evenly applied to the vehicle.

Tip: If bubbles occur, simply pierce small dots with the sharp point of an exacto knife (be careful not to cut or pierce too hard) and smooth the vinyl with your finger.
