Letters To Santa Mailbox Lowes – ELYRIA, Ohio (WOIO) – While children around the world have been busy writing their Christmas lists and sending them to the North Pole, the Lowe’s in Elyria help Santa by collecting some of these letters each year.

Jeffrey Crabeels is an assistant manager at Lowe’s in Elyria and has heard many children’s Christmas wishes over the years.

“So this one letter that we got hit a chord in our heart to this little boy or girl, we’re not sure, but they were looking for food for Christmas,” Crabeels explained. “What touched us all is that there is no child who should go hungry, especially during the holidays.”

“It was heartbreaking,” Crabeels said. “We didn’t know who the child was. There is no name on the letter they wrote. Each of us was heartbroken and sad that day.”

“On Christmas Eve, we’ll be hosting a neighborhood holiday brunch from 11 to 1 and we’re inviting the whole community to come out if they don’t have anywhere to go for Christmas,” Crabeels said. “(If) they want a hot meal, they want someone to talk to, we’ll open our doors to make that happen.”

“Get in touch, we’re here to help, we’ll support you in any way we can and make this Christmas a memorable one,” Crabeels said.
