I wanted to add the front RAM Led to my 19 Ram but didn’t want to pay the Harmoncustoms.com price for the whole grill. I didn’t want to remove the entire front grill either. I did some research and found Mopar part 68293118AC. Where the letter is “formed” and Chrome tabs – inserted. I found LED letters from a vendor for 40 cash/shipped. I cut off the chrome letters. I added my LED RAM letters to a piece of plastic with 3M plastic emblem and trim adhesive. Run the wires into the fuse box so it’s on when the truck is running. 44.00 I have my LED RAM letters. Plus have my Chrome letters and backsplash to switch to if you want to go back to factory.

I bet it’s pretty cool to ride the road at night or dusk. More pictures please after sunset!
Used 2021 Ram 1500 Trx For Sale (special Pricing)
I can’t blame you for not wanting to spend that dollar amount. They were the only ones around when I decided to make my own. As far as I know, they are still the only ones around. The main difference for me is that I have mine on bluetooth so I can turn it on/off/on as needed.
I remember someone here with a 3D printer working on an offer. I don’t know what happened there, I haven’t seen an update on this thread in a while.

The letters are from ebay seller Autopartsaround. He sells the whole grill. I simply contacted the seller and asked to purchase only letters. He sold them to me for 40 sent. I had it in 2 days. We just did the transaction with PayPal and Seller ID. = Eco Way Living Ltd. That way you guys have all the info… (I was skeptical at first but the company delivered)
Black Flag Emblem Compatible With Toyota 2022 2023 Tundra Tailgate Letters
I used an old piece of leaf guard to attach them. The letters have “studs” on the back to go through the classic Honey Comb Ram grill. I used this to my advantage to poke around the holes to keep the letters straight and a solid glue spot. (17 3/4″ long letters go over our grills) Once glued I cut old letters from my truck. Never removed the grill. Recently used a drummel and a Dewalt vibration cutter. Once the letters are cut out, the backup plate 68293118ac is removed.
I then cut the excess studs sticking shot back and cut a piece to fit the leaf guard (glued) onto the workshop. It works great as the leaf guard bends and the workshop has a slight curve to it… After drying I used flat black model paint over the white leaf guard. 2 robes. Then a clear coat. Then I just used a single stainless steel screw to hold it in place. Where the leaf guard meets the nameplate isn’t quite as smooth, but I plan on accenting it with a 1/2 chrome strip. I’m just waiting for this piece to be shown. Unfortunately I didn’t take any pictures of it being made as it was trial and error as the AM went on. But it only takes 2 hours in total. You can see the letters that terminate the existing name. Also, I removed the chrome letters. I purchased another name plate so I can put letters on it and switch back and forth as the winter season approaches.

Which fuse do you plug into the back of the piggy bank, I want my parking lights to come on??
Painted The Ram In The Rebel’s Grill!
Unfortunately I sold the truck and moved to 2500. I don’t remember which one I got tired of changing the RAM letters a bit. Goes with my truck theme. Also added some LEDs in the grill and fog light area. Red in the grille and amber in the fog light area.
TeknicalBadass said: How do you remove the letters on the back door and reuse them? Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk Click to expand… They actually came up pretty easily. I heated them up a bit with a heat gun and used fishing line to get under it, just enough to pull it out. I bought new letters for the application, but I could have used the old ones. The double-sided tape on the back of the letters came off easier than expected. It would be easy to reapply.
Ah well, thanks for letting me know. I want to move some of the letters on the door to the fences. I was hoping to reuse the letters. Cheap to just buy new adhesive. Thanks again and your truck looks great. Good job
Livenload said: Where did you put your LEDs? I saw the plugin in the previous thread but couldn’t find it. Nice truck. Click to expand… I drove it right into the parking lights. If you lift up your fenders, you will see the harness that powers your fenders. There is an orange/white wire (pin 2 I think) which is power, and one of the two black wires (pin 9) for ground.
Changed Ram Letters Up A Little
LED and light bar is a beautiful place and place. I like the fact that you can easily receive a letter. I just hope people don’t bother you on the street haha, shouldn’t matter. The stock rebel is bigger than most lifted trucks anyway haha unless you get crazy lifts. So no one will bother you
Hooch said: This is awesome! Where did you get the exhaust tips?! Click to expand… I got it from tailgunnerexhaust.com. I had to call them and ask about getting a bigger one because they only have 3 inches listed on their site. I went with 4 inches.
This is an older thread, you might not get a reply and you might want to revive an old thread. Please consider creating a new topic. The letters are designed in CAD based on stock letter sizes. They are 3D printed using ABS plastic, which is the same material used by Dodge and other leading car manufacturers because it is extremely durable and weather resistant. They are then sanded, polished, wet sanded, painted and cleaned using automotive grade paint.
