We’ve seen so many teachers trying to figure out how to write on them, but they’re silicone so it won’t stay. We found a few with the alphabet (a few randomly) and know it will be great to help your students with letters and sounds. They can sing letters, say letters without singing, identify certain letters on demand and really all sorts of things.
I was so excited to find an alphabet set already on them so I quickly ordered this one. It’s bright and colorful, so our students will love it. The letters are white so they can be easily seen. It also came with numbers and a cute mouse set. Click here to check this one out, or you can get it in a two-pack here.
We also found this one that isn’t as colorful and we know some kids will need it. It’s basic white with black lettering. This one is a little different than the others – it’s not as soft and rubbery, but it still gets the job done. It also came with a cool American flag that students will love. Click here to watch it now.
This heart was a hidden gem in the set I ordered. 3 quirks came and I had no idea I was going to get one with letters. (They are hard to see in the photos). It came with a pineapple, unicorn and heart design. The heart was the only set that had letters on it. Click here to view this set now. (Looks like you can only get the alphabet bubble here too).

This is the number one that came up with the above alphabet. They are numbers 1-30 and several shapes. PERFECT for preschool, kindergarten and first grade. Students will be looking at the numbers as the little bubbles pop. Click here to check this one out, or you can get it in a two-pack here.
We also found this great set of NUMBERS! These are SO great and I know the students will enjoy them. It makes my teacher heart happy that they are in number shapes, for sure! (And I’ll keep an eye out for an alphabet like this one). This set also came with the alphabet popsicle shown below. Click here to check this report.
This was included in the number set above. I totally thought it was just a popsicle, but it had the alphabet on it! Hurrah! Click here to check this report.
Going back to the numbers, we found 100 CHART! I am SO excited about this! We will come up with some number games and activities and share them with you later. This has SO much potential and I can’t wait. We have this here.

Generally speaking, they are good for counting sounds, syllables, and individual correspondences. They will be a great addition to your small groups, centers and even whole group discussions.
Here’s a useful hack for teachers – cut the bubbles into rows. This allows you to have individual sets for your small groups that students can use to count. Cut through the thick lines using ordinary teacher’s scissors. They will never be perfect BUT they will still work and be very durable.
When you want to cut them, square ones are best because the bubbles line up perfectly. They come in solid or multi-colored. We think the multi adds a bit of color coding as it breaks things up like sounds so they can see one is different than the other, but solid colors work well too. You can get the solid color one here and the multi color one here (but it comes in a kit that includes the ones you can’t cut straight away, so be careful).
There are so many great shapes and designs with these bubbles that your students will love. Here are some of the fun ones we’ve collected over the past few months (yes, we’re a little obsessed).
