Credit goes to those involved in the Z690 Chipset and Alder Lake CPU series. The good guys paired with the hard workers of OpenCore and Dortania deserve a round or three of whatever pleases them the most.
For me, the Hackintosh platfrom becomes worth the time and energy (early) when we have a fully functional Thunderbolt Bus. Thank you @CaseySJ and many others involved for taking the project on such a scientific home. If you want to know more and about what is involved and who contributed, please go to the link below and expand the Local Node And Thunderbolt Bus Investigation spoiler. There are many leaders and testers and they are properly credited there.

NorthAmTransAm do you disable E-core with BIOS or open core? That’s right! You have to save and reboot afterwards to pick it up.
I’m glad you stuck it out! I wonder if changing to Safe Model helps. This bios is a bit of a head scratcher. I’m going to buy a new NVME drive this summer and may try to figure that out as well. Fake check, you have CNVI enabled in Bios and Airportbrcmfixup disabled in EFI?
A mix of these components are pre-owned items such as cases, various hard drives, memory, a Fenvi T919 and an RX 580 GPU. Financially, I’m not sure what I’d do if I had to buy a GPU right now so I’m very grateful that have an RX 580 on hand–it has served me well and I can only hope it will continue to do so. If you’re not aware, iGPUs on 12th Gen Intel CPUs won’t work with macOS so you’ll need some sort of compatible graphics card. My stash of NVME drives came from picking up random parts from eBay and various sales. However, if I were to buy a new drive now then I would follow the community’s instructions and buy Sabrent Rocket NVME without hesitation.

According to Dortania and field work through Z690 Chipset And Alder Lake Thread, we need to start with some basics in our ACPI. That research coupled with the individual needs of my build led me here.
A note about the MC_ name change to MCHC: I haven’t researched its relevance on this board yet as it seems to boot without it. I recommend keeping it for now as there are no ill effects to keeping it and it is recommended by the guide.
Update: I see now, MC_Device exists in our DSDT and iGfxSsdt Tables and that’s what both patches handle.
Here I have edited my graphics card and audio mate to only say 580 instead of “480, 580, 590” along with adding device ID F3158680 to my Intel I255-V. I recommend you do the same.

Let’s focus first on Cpuid1Data and Cpuid1Mask. Since our CPU is not supported by macOS (not used on any actual Mac model), we must tell macOS that it is a previous generation. So we’ll say it’s a Comet Lake CPU.
A note about Kext options : CPUFriend is mandatory, and its companion CPUFriendDataProvider is where things start to get powerful. Airportbrcmfixup is not required as macOS will connect the FenviT919 to the correct drive automatically. I just like that it creates only ARPT devices. Purely cosmetic. If you like a slimmer EFI then feel free to remove it.
Why hang up on ARPT? It used to be that Hand Off wasn’t available without ARPT but that’s no longer the case and I should uh, let it go.
I’m using a boot picker that I believe I borrowed from @CaseySJ. I’ll try to track down the original source but for now the basic procedure to install is to replace your EFI Sources folder with mine and copy my settings here (Picker Mode= External, PickerVariant=Auto).
In Chrome, There Are
I chose to add these 3 tools as well (image below). I find them most useful although CleanNvram is redundant because you can enable AllowNvramReset in the Security tab. Again, the choice is yours.
Pro Tip: You can check Assistant on each Tool entry you’ve added and enable Hide Assistant in the main window to clean up your boot selector. The tool can be accessed by pressing the spacebar in the Boot Selector.
Here we cosmetically rename our CPU to what it really is. In this case it is a 12 Core Intel i7-12700K.
Next we have the standard boot argument -v keepsysms=1 debug=0x100. I recommend keeping -v enabled so we can observe what happens when we boot macOS.

Next we have the appleALC ID number (for our onboard audio controller) which I found to be 66 so we enter alcid=66. This used to be achieved by using Device Properties but has been replaced by adding a boot argument.
Finally, we benefit from a boot flag via whatevergreen.kext that allows us to disable the iGPU because we are incompatible with macOS -wegnoigpu
For our build, we’re using SMBIOS Mac Pro 7, 1. You’ll need to generate your own serial number and check its validity using this guide by Dortania. It can be frustrating so take it
