Inspired by Charlotte Mason, my blog is a treasure trove of handy tips, art and projects, free sites, and quality educational packs. Italic letters help you write beautifully. A long time ago people tended to write with this style. They wholeheartedly write cursive letters in ink on a piece of paper. You write it carefully to make sure it is written beautifully and clearly. That’s why it took a long time until they wrote a letter back then.
Anyway, to start writing italic letters, you need to learn how to write uppercase and lowercase letters. This time we will give you some information on how to write lowercase italics. But before we go, you need to know that italic letters are written in italics. It also has something like a tail in each letter.
To make it easier, you may need to download the lowercase italics template first. Look at the difference between upper and lower case letters. You can also download a worksheet for lowercase italics. This sheet helps beginners practice each letter before starting to write a word and then sentences. Trace the italic lowercase letters you see in the template. Repeat until you are sure you wrote it nicely.
The letter S in cursive might look like the letter A at first glance. But if you take a closer look, you will see that there is a difference between the letter S and A. The letter S looks like a sail while the letter A looks more solid. You have to write it repeatedly to see the difference between it. However, to italicize S, the first thing you should do is draw small slashes going up halfway between your two lines. Then draw one half of the teardrop shape going back to the small slashes and connecting them. Now add a line extending to the side of the teardrop shape to connect it to other letters.
