Hugo Chavez, the charismatic president who led a proletarian revolution that helped many but destroyed the economy, is running for election, and Chavez will win the election. But it didn’t last long, and under his successor, Nicolás Maduro, Montero believes Venezuela has reached its peak.

“It’s hard to see how it could be worse,” he says. “People die of fever, cancer, AIDS, but there is no blood on the shore. The government cannot provide the basic needs of the citizen. “

For Dudamel, El Sistema is a program that, in fact, provides for the basic needs of the citizen, while music remains an inalienable Venezuelan human right. Montero says Venezuela cannot wait, so the System cannot be the solution.
