These fabulous, handmade, fabric covered letters and numbers can be personalized to your specifications and will make a great addition to any room’s decor.

I can make any combination of letters, words or numbers to suit your specific requirements. Each letter is handcrafted with love, care and attention to detail and is the perfect gift for any occasion. All letters and numbers are capitalized and indented for a more luxurious 3D effect.

This listing is for the birdprint covered letters/numbers and is edged with the same fabric, a plain pale pink of any other fabric you choose.

I have a large range of high quality fabrics for you to choose from, ensuring that your selection will be absolutely unique. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, please contact me and I’ll be happy to help.

The letters/numbers are designed to ensure that no glue will ever be visible, even if placed in direct sunlight. Each letter or number is approximately 21 cm (8 inches) high, 11.5 cm wide and 2.5 cm deep.

As all letters/numbers are hand made by me please allow 10 working days (2 weeks) for delivery, I will keep this up to date depending on the order.

Once you have decided what letters/numbers and fabric you would like, please order with the number of letters required and then contact me for the fabrics of your choice. I can also make letters/numbers in contrasting colors or patterns around the edges. If you would like me to use fabric that you already own, please contact me to discuss.

I have a variety of stripes, spots, ginham and plain fabrics that I couldn’t fit into this listing, so if you can’t see what you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to contact me for further photos.

Every month, Waverly Inspirations at Walmart sends me a surprise box of fabric, ribbon, and paint and challenges me to create something inspiring with their products. It’s a fun little game that I look forward to every month. My challenge theme this month was Thanksgiving Decor. I decided to create fabric quilted letters and a fabric banner for my Thanksgiving mantle. I love changing up my decor on my mantel with inexpensive DIY decor.

Step 1: Before you begin, decide which fabric letters will be covered. Step 2: Turn your letter wrong side up and place the letter on the wrong side of the fabric. Run a free trail around your email.

When you trace your letter, leave enough fabric to wrap around the back of your letter.

The slits cut in your fabric will allow the fabric to wrap neatly around the curves of the letter.

Step 4: Use a small brush to apply Mod Podge to the edges of the fabric. Use your hands to smooth the edges of the fabric on the back of the letters.

As you can see, I didn’t worry about making the back of my letters perfect. No one will see the back of your emails, so there’s no need to stress about this step. If the unfinished look bothers you, just trace around your letter (right side up) on a piece of fabric and glue in place to cover the messy edges.

Step 5: Decorate the letters with ribbon. Step 6 (optional): To create freestanding letters, hot glue a small square piece of wood vertically to the bottom of each letter.

I just used square pieces of balsa wood that I had in my scrap wood stash. You can hot glue any small piece of scrap wood to create a support for each letter. Or you can glue them to the board to make a sign.
